Dad never traveled far. As he got older anything more than an hour from home seemed to trigger some anxiety. So, he never would have been able to join us for this trip if he was still alive. After the funeral we were of course all dealing with his death in our own way. This family

That’s what the 53 yo woman said. Now she was leaking watery stool. She never has the urge to go. This was an old problem, at least since she was in high school, and sometimes she has to even put on a glove to “get it out.”She uses laxatives all the time, but nothing seems to

Well, I’m not Steve Jobs, and I don’t think my speech will go viral after I die. Nevertheless, my speech was well-received, and hopefully I’ll do better next time, if there is a next time. I have never done this before, and was of course very nervous. I tried to get out of this for a

So I have had my case taken—for the 4th time.  I think everyone doing homeopathy should also be a patient. The more whole you are the better you can be objective with your own patients. It is really almost impossible to treat yourself. To see yourself objectively is an oxymoron. You just can’t. I guess

I just planted a new tree in the front yard. I’m hoping for some future great shade, and beautiful flowers from this Hong Kong Orchid Tree. The nursery had it pruned so that it seems like a tall stick with some leaves on top…..but now it will be free to do what it wants for

Gaining knowledge and inspiration from a great homeopath and teacher — Rajan Sankaran — leaves me feeling humbled by my abilities, but also encouraged to keep getting better. By using subtle interview techniques

That’s right, I’m not in the USA. I’m attending a summit conference in Toronto, Canada with a few hundred other homeopaths learning more about case-taking from Rajan Sankaran. Just around the corner from the venue, I saw this sign in a local pharmacy. How nice to see! Maybe someday we’ll see more of these signs

The Bristol Stool Scale was brought to my attention as a joke recently. It’s a real poop scale! After Dr. Oz and Oprah got everyone to look at their poops, maybe this is no big deal. I think it is just a little weird though. Having said that, I am going to come out of
